Secret languages

Re-analyze that voice inside your brain

ATTENTION ALL APHASIACS!

By John Kaminski

"Secret languages conceal the secrets of priests from the kings, or persons of authority, as well as from the mere vulgar."

Two distinct histories — one for the priests, one for the kings.

Prehistoric language: Ogam, similar to Sanskrit, and contrived for secrecy.

Ogmius was the Gallic god called the Hercules of Learning.

Hercules Ogmius is "The Learnéd Hercules".

[The Roman poet] Lucian, thinking about how to portray Hercules, was told by a learnéd druid that the great hero in Gaul was not visualized in the same way he was in Greece.

Instead of a musclebound superhero, Hercules Ogmius wielded "force of eloquence".

"Ogmius was a Gallic word, a word of the country. It is indeed pure Celtic, and signifies — to use the phrase of Tacitus about the Germans — the secret of letters . . . from whence the force of eloquence proceeds."

Hercules as the Protector of Learning (in ancient France, which in 50 BC before the Romans engulfed it, was called Gaul).

Ogma, often spelled in other ways, is the Irish alphabet, that evolved from signifying the secret of writing to actual secret writing.

"After the introduction of Christianity, the Ogam writings, not being understood by the priests, were believed to be magical, and destroyed wherever they were found. [St.] Patrick is said to have burnt 300 books in these letters.

"If Patrick never lived," Godfrey Higgins writes in 1829, "there can be no doubt that those who describe his act as a merit would do it for him.”

Rune had the same meaning at Ogam and meant secret or mystery. It succeeded the word Ogam.

— Godfrey Higgins (1772-1833), Celtic Druids, 1827-29, p. 20-21

It's raining psyops these days.

Duff, the top Jew on the CIA's Veterans Today website, is writing about UFO bases in the Pacific; his buddy Barrett is telling us all about 9/11 while he puts together his kumbaya party with Muslims, Christians and Jews all mixed together; Rense has a Dees cartoon of an Obama mask terrifying a child and a pro-nuclear article; Jones is preaching his usual blownback terror without ever once identifying the real terrorists.
Slow news day.

What stands revealed is a mechanism that can put thoughts inside your head, determine your moods by signals that alter natural electromagnetic frequencies, and fog your consciousness with a ceaseless avalanche of manufactured truth. "The world is choking on truth," Ernest Becker once famously said.

Rense, Flanagan: High tech mass mind control

So you now know that some of what you're hearing is being put there by means other than through your ears.

But what comes into your brain through your eyes seems to be more and more frightening memes in which the same slimy deceivers slip in and control both sides of the public debate on the argument, never focusing on the real core of the issues nor the real perpetrators of the deception, not to mention the false history out of which the current crises are constructed.

For secret languages, cryptography is the perceptual bullseye.

What is hidden in the words and how is it being transmitted?

This is a consciousness 99 percent of the population lacks, and by now you have some idea of who the 1 percent actually are. You can be sure they know what I'm talking about.

It's the same as the lawyers' scam of Admiralty Law vs. Common Law that relegates the Constitution into a moot point in our hallowed halls of justice, now better known for hiring subcontractors in primitive faraway places to do our torturing for us.

Other kinds of secret languages — from Pig Latin to cultic incantations to the cryptic slang of thieves.

Even a new kind of cant called cryptoelect

Laboratory for Cognitive Neuroscience of Language

reveals how the government is setting up its attack plan on your brain.

The main goal of our research program is to study the cognitive and neural architectures of normal language comprehension. Our research is directed at three related goals: (1) to understand how humans represent and integrate semantic information; (2) to determine when different kinds of contextual information (syntax, thematic information, semantic information, discourse information) are integrated in real time; and (3) to identify the role of the inferior frontal gyrus in these integration processes.

Ah yes, those pesky inferior frontal gyrus! (A small portion of the prefrontal cerebral cortex — this is your brain I'm talking about!)

Stop-signal inhibition disrupted by damage
to right inferior front gyrus in humans

The right inferior frontal gyru seems to stifle your instincts, described as a "an inhibition signal to accept a risky option."

Cognitive functions

Disruption of activity of this area with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) indeed leads to change in risk attitudes, as behaviorally demonstrated by choices over risky outcomes.

The left IFG (interior front gyru) is extremely important for language production and verb comprehension (left side corresponds to the 'dominant side', for right-handed persons).
Commonly known as "Broca's Area", persons with damage in this region often have non-fluent aphasia.

With non-fluent aphasia, speech is notably difficult to produce, but the speech that is produced is high in content compared to Wernicke's aphasiacs (persons with damage to the posterior language regions) whose aphasia is considered "fluent" yet rambling.

Kind of like my writing style — fluent yet rambling.

To believe the whole stories about 9/11, the phony wars, the stonewalling of radiation and chemtrail info, the poisoning of our food supply, the electronic swindle of all our money and property, and all the other baldfaced deceptions, the entire American population absolutely has to have a raging case of non-fluent aphasia.

It's raining psyops.

Cryptography. What is hidden in the message, and how does it prevent you from perceiving the obvious truth? More on neurolinguistic programming later.

aphasia

n.

Partial or total loss of the ability to articulate ideas or comprehend spoken or written language, resulting from damage to the brain caused by injury or disease

[Greek, from aphatos, speechless : a-, not; see a-1 + phatos, spoken, speakable (from phanai, to speak; see -phasia).]

aphasiac a·pha'si·ac' (-zē-ăk') n.
aphasic a·pha'sic (-zĭk, -sĭk) adj. & n.

Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy

The disruption or total loss of the faculty of speech, often resulting from local damage to the left hemisphere of the brain. In ancient scepticism aphasia is the silence enjoined on us after we have suspended judgment on things.

Columbia Encyclopedia

aphasia (əfā'zhə), language disturbance caused by a lesion of the brain, making an individual partially or totally impaired in his ability to speak, write, or comprehend the meaning of spoken or written words. It is distinguished from functional disorders such as stammering or stuttering, and from impaired speech due to physical defects in the organs used for speaking. Treatment consists of reeducation; the oral and lip-reading methods employed in the education of deaf and mute children have been found to be of assistance in therapy.

Wikipedia

fin de siècle

Fin de siècle is French for "end of the century". The term typically encompasses not only the meaning of the similar English idiom "turn of the century", but also both the closing and onset of an era, as it was felt to be a period of degeneration, but at the same time a period of hope for a new beginning. The "spirit" of fin de siècle often refers to the cultural hallmarks that were recognized as prominent in the 1880s and 1890s, including boredom, cynicism, pessimism, and a widespread belief that civilization leads to decadence.

"Fin de siècle" is most commonly associated with French artists, especially the French symbolists, and was affected by the cultural awareness characteristic of France at the end of the 19th century. However, the expression is also used to refer to a European-wide cultural movement. The ideas and concerns of the fin de siècle influenced the decades to follow and played an important role in the birth of modernism.

The themes of "fin de siècle" political culture were very controversial and have been cited as a major influence on fascism. The major political theme of the era was that of revolt against materialism, rationalism, positivism, bourgeois society and liberal democracy. The fin-de-siècle generation supported emotionalism, irrationalism, subjectivism and vitalism. The fin-de-siècle mindset saw civilization as being in a crisis that required a massive and total solution.

Fin de siècle culture has been perceived to have influenced 20th century culture, such as Bohemian counterculture having similarities to punk counterculture in that both celebrate a romantic and willful sense of decay.

Friedrich Nietzsche, German philosopher. Nietzsche's philosophy with its rejection of rationalism, immensely influenced the culture of the fin de siècle.

Broader sense

In a broader sense the expression fin de siècle is used to characterise anything that has an ominous mixture of opulence and/or decadence, combined with a shared prospect of unavoidable radical change or some approaching "end".

The expression fin de siècle implies not change itself, but rather its anticipation. For example, for the 19th-century fin de siècle, the most radical changes to the cultural and social order occurred more than a decade after the 20th century had started (most notably as a result of World War I). The Belle Époque was not even at its height in 1900, nor had the Edwardian era (almost seamlessly following the Victorian era) even started.

Shadow of the Comet, by John Kaminski

In order to clearly see our future, we must clearly see our past. As it stands now, our collective past disappears into a confusing fog of garbled legends all claiming to be the ultimate truth. Preachers of all these myths have one thing in common: the survival of their chosen creed is far more important to them than the message they preach.

At some point, for peace of mind, we are all compelled to either accept the ultimate truth of our lives on faith (learning from guides we have chosen to trust) or suffer the debilitating dysfunction of doubt.

Ever more steadily the world is learning—through constant revelations of sexual and financial debaucheries—that the doctrines and dogmas upon which we base our moral principles are riddled with falsehoods, hypocrisies, and provable misinformation.

The choice for all who seek to rid themselves of this unhealthy perversion of their thoughts is to undertake the arduous journey of self-knowledge, to find out who we are and why we chose the path we did.

The moment we choose to do that we realize that the Bible was written to cover up the real history of human society.

INTRODUCTORY NOTE

At the beginning of the collection in the Codex Regius stands the Voluspo, the most famous and important, as it is likewise the most debated, of all the Eddic poems. Another version of it is found in a huge miscellaneous compilation of about the year 1300, the Hauksbok, and many stanzas are included in the Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson. The order of the stanzas in the Hauksbok version differs materially from that in the Codex Regius, and in the published editions many experiments have been attempted in further rearrangements. On the whole, how ever, and allowing for certain interpolations, the order of the stanzas in the Codex Regius seems more logical than any of the wholesale "improvements" which have been undertaken.

Ernest Becker and the Psychology of World Views

By Eugene Webb

University of Washington

Essay originally published in Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science, 33, no. 1 (March
1998): 71-86.

Abstract: Solomon, Greenberg, and Pyszczyinski offer experimental confirmation for Ernest Becker's claim that the fear of death is a powerful unconscious motive producing polarized worldviews and scapegoating. Their suggestion that their findings also prove Freud's theory of repression, with worldviews as its irrational products, is questionable, although Becker's own statements about worldviews as "illusions" seem to invite such interpretation.

Their basic theory does not depend on this, and abandoning it would enable them to take better advantage of their finding that worldviews incorporating the values of rationality and tolerance tend to counteract polarization effects.

Sheldon Solomon, Jeff Greenberg, and Tom Pyszczyinski share Ernest Becker's belief that the task of social science is to foster cultural world views that maximize opportunities for individual growth and development while minimizing the conflicts that historically occur as a result of collisions between different death-denying visions of reality." They also share his belief that the central problem with cultural world views is the danger of polarization| that is, their tendency to divide the world up into a “their" side and an “our" side, a side of demonic evil and a side of the angels. I am pleased to have been invited to comment on their discussion of their research in “Tales From the Crypt" because I too share their concern about the importance and possible dangerousness of world views and because I think their experimental studies of the empirical basis of Becker's analysis of human psychology make an important contribution to understanding these matters. I also welcome the opportunity their essay offers for the clarification of some issues they bring up in their analyses of the implications of their findings. These are issues that I believe are important, and it is good that they have raised them -- although in some cases I must differ regarding their interpretations.

I would like to begin with a quick overview of Becker's (and the article authors') basic ideas, then discuss what I think are some of the problematic or ambiguous aspects of these.

Then, in whatever space may be left, I will try to place Becker's contribution to the psychology of world views in a larger framework that includes other approaches, particularly those of mimetic and developmental psychology.

The Thought of Ernest Becker

As the authors remind us, Becker said that human beings have evolved to be self-conscious, but this capacity has brought with it the awareness of possibility and futurity and therefore of possible death.

Following such revisionist Freudians as Otto Rank and Gregory Zilboorg, Becker thought that awareness of the possibility of death would produce crippling fear if it remained constantly in the forefront of attention. As he put it in The Denial of Death, “. . . the fear of death must be present behind all our normal functioning, in order for the organism to be armed toward self-preservation.
"But the fear of death cannot be present constantly in one’s mental functioning, else the organism could not function” (Becker 1973). It therefore must be “repressed,” which means (Becker quotes Zilboorg) “more than to put away and to forget that which was put away and the place where we put it. It means also to maintain a constant psychological effort to keep the lid on and inwardly never relax our watchfulness”.

In their analysis of Becker’s thought the authors focus on cultural world views and self-esteem as the principal instruments people use to keep the terror of death at bay.
In The Denial of Death Becker used the term “hero project” for both of these together. “Society itself is a codified hero system,” he says there, “which means that society everywhere is a living myth of the significance of human life, a defiant creation of meaning”.

Self-esteem (success in the hero project) depends upon a heroic enterprise to carry out, which in turn means that there must be a world view that embraces heroic values and interprets the cosmos as a theater for heroic action.

Becker goes on to say there that this means “[e]very society is thus a ‘religion’ whether it thinks so or not...” — a point on which the authors agree, since, as they put it, there is no way unambiguously to confirm the veracity of a world view, and it must therefore be held on faith.

Edward Gibbon, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire,

Chapter 39

"As the happiness of a future life is the great object of religion, we may hear without surprise or scandal that the introduction, or at least the abuse of Christianity, had some influence on the decline and fall of the Roman empire.

The clergy successfully preached the doctrines of patience and pusillanimity; the active virtues of society were discouraged; and the last remains of military spirit were cured in the cloister: a large portion of public and private wealth was consecrated to the specious demands of charity and devotion; and the soldiers' pay was lavished on the useless multitudes of both sexes who could only plead the merits of abstinence and chastity.

Faith, zeal, curiosity, and more earthly passions of malice and ambition, kindled the flame of theological discord; the church, and even the state, were distracted by religious factions, whose conflicts were sometimes bloody and always implacable; the attention of the emperors was diverted from camps to synods; the Roman world was oppressed by a new species of tyranny; and the persecuted sects became the secret enemies of their county.

According to Gibbon, the Roman Empire succumbed to barbarian invasions in large part due to the gradual loss of civic virtue among its citizens.[4] They had become weak, outsourcing their duties to defend their Empire to barbarian mercenaries, who then became so numerous and ingrained that they were able to take over the Empire.

Romans, he believed, had become effeminate, unwilling to live a tougher, "manly" military lifestyle. He further blames the degeneracy of the Roman army and the Praetorian guards. In addition, Gibbon argued that Christianity created a belief that a better life existed after death, which fostered an indifference to the present among Roman citizens, thus sapping their desire to sacrifice for the Empire.

Finally, like other Enlightenment thinkers, Gibbon held in contempt the Middle Ages as a priest-ridden, superstitious, dark age. It was not until his own age of reason and rational thought, it was believed, that human history could resume its progress.

[. . .] the decline of Rome was the natural and inevitable effect of immoderate greatness.
Prosperity ripened the principle of decay; the causes of destruction multiplied with the extent of conquest; and as soon as time or accident had removed the artificial supports, the stupendous fabric yielded to the pressure of its own weight.

The story of its ruin is simple and obvious; and instead of inquiring why the Roman empire was destroyed, we should rather be surprised that it had subsisted so long. The victorious legions who, in distant wars, acquired the vices of strangers and mercenaries, first oppressed the freedom of the republic, and afterwards violating the majesty of the purple.

The emperors, anxious for their personal safety and the public peace, were reduced to the base expedient of corrupting the discipline which rendered them alike formidable to their sovereign and to the enemy; the vigour of the military government was relaxed and finally dissolved by the partial institutions of Constantine; and the Roman world was overwhelmed by a deluge of barbarians.

Heresy in 21st Century France

The revisionists produce evidence and they are answered only with threats, incantations or moaning and groaning. They are thrown into prison and overwhelmed with fines. Their lives are wrecked.

At the dawn of the third millennium, an international debate, bringing together historians, researchers and scientists, is urgently needed, especially to obtain a worthy response to the aforementioned forensic studies. ALL OF THESE STUDIES HAVE CONCLUDED that the existence and functioning of the “Nazi gas chambers” are a COMPLETE IMPOSSIBILITY. Up to now the upholders of the official truth have evaded or refused such a debate, finding refuge in the unjust force of laws made just for the circumstances.

It is high time that they quit using subterfuge, took off their masks, renounced the use of force and faced the risks of a real debate held in the light of day.

For the sake of simple human justice.

And a final question, from Dick Fojut in Tucson, Arizona, who characterized the main philosophy of both major 2012 U.S. presidential candidates as: "I will suck up to Israel more than you."

"QUESTION: As  President, which of you men will immediately SANCTION Israel, until enough damage to its economy forces Netanyahu to begin destroying Israel's enormous stockpiles of nukes, biological and chemical weapons — and open Dimona to UN inspection, as has been done in Iran?"

Early Aramaic Jewish Christian prophesying

There are the prophets of Israel - those that are known from the Tanakh, the Christian Old Testament. And there are the "prophets" that are known from the New Testament pages. These seem to be a breakout of prophesy after Old Testament prophesy ceased. And there is prophesy in the Early Church - which seem to be often an itinerant band or number of individuals who would travel from congregation to congregation and sometimes operate within the local congregation. Not much is known about them but they probably operated in a ministry of encouragement and speaking in the name of the Lord. But there is another outbreak of prophesy, which is akin in some ways to the prophesy of our own days common among charismatic Protestant Evangelical and Roman Catholic groups. This form of prophesy is found in the 1st-2nd century Aramaic Jewish Christian community of the region of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, from which a strong and vigorous missionary movement was launched toward the Far East - eventually focusing on southern India and China.

What was the prophetic message delivered to and through this community, and what was the form of the "Thus saith the Lord"?

The answer is found in the Odes of Solomon

"The Odes of Solomon are hymns of praise and devotion that we inherit from an early poet. The author, the Odist, was a Jew, conceivably an Essene because he intermittently evidences that he knew the Thanksgiving Hymns (the so-called hymnbook of the Qumran Community). The Odist eventually believed that Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah and imagined: 'The dove fluttered over the head of our Lord Messiah, /Because he was her head' (Ode 24:1).

"The collection is identified as the Odes of Solomon, not because they were written by King Solomon in the tenth century B.C., but because they were rightly considered to be in the tradition of Solomon, who was known in the Bible as 'the Beloved.' The Odist uses this term for himself and all like him; it is a concept that helps define the Odes. While Solomon lived in the tenth century B.C., the Odist lived sometime near A.D. 100. He composed the Odes in a form of early Aramaic and Syriac which is a language spoken in the early Christian centuries and was a form of the language spoken by Jesus."

The Unsolicited Opinion
Communitarianism is…

“Twenty-first century communitarianism is a philosophical, political, and legal theory. It combines every opposite theory in the history of the world. It’s a projected vision for a new global order by the year 2020. It’s what all of us should be socially evolving into.

Communitarians borrow ideas from ancient religions, Plato, Marx, Jefferson, Buber and Madame Blavatsky. Studying their theory is a nightmare. It’s unfocused and vague. And, this new theory is nothing like what Fredric Bastiat called a valid scientific inquiry, as in one that “… proceeds by way of observation.” Their new ideas are unoriginal and their methods are unscientific. We’re being led into a solution which “… like astrology and alchemy, proceeds by way of imagination.” (Fredric Bastiat, Economic Harmonies)

Communitarian thinking actually reminds me a lot of the “alien theory.” Communitarians base all their ideas in rituals, ancient languages, and beliefs only their adepts understand. Like the most scholarly alien theorists, their ideas use facts that prove everything except whether or not aliens actually exist. As social evolutionists, communitarian gurus claim their best evidence lies in how many people feel their vibes and embrace their values...” read more http://www.newswithviews.com/Raapana/niki4.htm

The present work dates back to the early '50s and the creative leadership of the late L.M.K. Boelter, founding dean of UCLA's College of Engineering. He and Dan Gerlough of the Institute of Transportation and Traffic Engineering encouraged an insufferable young research associate to study non-replenishable natural resources and to express opinions about the future. It became a habit.

Much of the material presented herein has been thoroughly controverted in front of university audiences, in corporate conference rooms, and before countless service clubs. Over a period of thirty years thoughtful challengers -- too many to name -- have contributed ideas.

In New Haven, a well-coifed University Club member raised her hand to suggest that battery-powered underwear might be the best way to make winter bicycling endurable, especially for women.

Unemployment has nothing to do with oil, said a Kiwani at the speaker's table in New Jersey. We gotta quit paying people not to work. There are plenty of jobs for people who are hungry enough. Pass the butter.
Commuting by bicycle is eccentric, clearly not appropriate for adults, according to a corporate vice president in New York. "It’s OK to be a wild duck as long as you fly in formation."

Grudging gratitude goes to then-Secretary of Commerce, Philip Klutznick, who listened politely one morning in 1979 to the worn-glib complaints of a certain bicyclist. Agreeing that policy makers lack vital understanding of the limits imposed by nature, he then extemporized at length on the second law of thermodynamics, replete with citations from Lord Kelvin, and concluded with a review of energy economics and its societal implications.

Special appreciation to son Paul Jr., who, after slogging through the whole original manuscript, jotted, "Shorten." "Thanks also to brothers Alan and David. Alan’s suggested essay lauding the energy efficiency of railroad trains gets mentioned only here. Didn't fit. Among David's many recommendations: "Forget complete sentences."  Finally, without Jay and Gail Rochlin, Lee Barker and Leslie Johnston, no book.

The original of this 1977 photograph is life-sized -- over nine feet tall. There is one exhibited at each of the three Guinness Museums.

Virtuous Invention

The bicycle holds primacy among mankind's most virtuous inventions, ranking alongside the loom and the movable-type press. While the former affords bodily raiment, the latter the same save for minds, the bicycle repays mild exertions with swift transport -- the unfettering of our very souls! Yet this most civilized of wheeled conveyances offends neither ear nor nostril and depends not at all on fossils from afar.

“That’ll be easy,” said I when Joyce Leong invited me to write an entry about ‘sustainability’ for the SF Telegraph.  Joyce is the leader for All Things Green on Booz Allen Hamilton’s team here at the Silicon Valley Rapid Transit (SVRT) project.  I was thinking that all I would need to do is cite a few passages from the Internet version of my book about the future A Certain Bicyclist: An Offbeat Guide to the Post-Petroleum Age.  The hardcover version was published in 1985 -- about the same time Al Gore began holding the first congressional hearings on toxic waste and global warming.  Developing public awareness for these problems has been slow; solutions, slower still.  The pace is accelerating, though, so maybe writing this article won’t be so easy.

EIP and Sixteen Public Interest Groups Petition for Disclosure of Toxic Chemical Releases from Oil and Gas Exploration and Processing

EIP and sixteen other public interest groups petitioned the USEPA to require that toxic pollutants released during oil and gas extraction (including “fracking” and downstream processing) be reported to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI).  Oil and gas extraction releases nearly 130,000 tons of hazardous air pollutants a year, second only to coal-fired power plants.  Public release of data through annual TRI reports can give communities vital information about the environmental footprint of this rapidly growing industry, and help companies set benchmarks for reducing their pollution.

State of the Species

Does success spell doom for Homo sapiens?

THE PROBLEM WITH environmentalists, Lynn Margulis used to say, is that they think conservation has something to do with biological reality. A researcher who specialized in cells and microorganisms, Margulis was one of the most important biologists in the last half century—she literally helped to reorder the tree of life, convincing her colleagues that it did not consist of two kingdoms (plants and animals), but five or even six (plants, animals, fungi, protists, and two types of bacteria).

Until Margulis’s death last year, she lived in my town, and I would bump into her on the street from time to time. She knew I was interested in ecology, and she liked to needle me. Hey, Charles, she would call out, are you still all worked up about protecting endangered species?

“A Lot of People Believe This Stuff”: Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and the Politics of Public Relations

Watching Bill Clinton speak at the Democratic National Convention reminded me of why I don’t watch political speeches. The man stood up on stage for nearly an hour, and talked about how he cared about what poor families will do if the Republicans come to power, that Obama has fixed the economy, and he even felt it necessary to literally state, “Look, I love our country so much,” just in case you had any doubts. Clinton reached divine levels of absurdity and double-think when he stated:

If you want a future of shared prosperity, where the middle class is growing and poverty is declining, where the American dream is really alive and well again and where the United States maintains its leadership as a force for peace and justice and prosperity in this highly competitive world, you have to vote for Barack Obama.[78]

Considering that none of those fantasies exist under Republicans or Democrats, let alone Clinton or Obama, I will simply end with my favourite quote from Clinton during his speech: “a lot of people believe this stuff.”

Let’s hope not for long.

The Prophets: The Persian Propagandists

Elijah and Elisha

Biblicists always have trouble in seeing through the internal chronology of the bible. They know full well that the Jews were particularly fond of writing pseudepigraphs, works that pretend to be by an authoritative writer. There is a whole faculty of biblicism devoted to studying pseudepigraphs, but too many biblical experts refuse to accept that the bible itself is full of them. They will accept the odd book, such as Daniel as being a pseudepigraph because it is so obvious it cannot be denied, but they will persist that other books of the prophets are all historical works, contemporary with the events they describe! The prophets are known entirely from the bible. They are not historical figures. Christian commentators will give convincing sounding lives and times of the prophets but they are paraphrases of the bible tied in with contemporary history also from the bible or from the supposed time of the events.

In a world that was happily polytheistic, biblicists believe it is credible that strange men should stand up and decry all the deities that people knew and loved, and mainly escape with their lives. Not only that, but their obviously unpalatable message that there was only one god—the prophets carried on with their ranting for several hundred years (c 800-c 600 BC) with no apparent effect—nevertheless, and inconsistently, was recorded in a time and place where writing was expensive and unusual so that it is now still readable in God’s Holy word. A miracle!

Towards a City of God

The Universal History of Western Civilization: Who are we, really? - Part 1

For many observant Christians, 2012 is a year of deep trepidation, a time in which the realisation of biblical prophecies of the “end times” is widely feared to begin in earnest. And yet, in the confusion and educational paucity of our times, much of the true history of western civilisation from the birth of Christ and days of the patristic fathers, through the rise and decline of Rome, its resurrection in the Byzantine, later Anglo-Dutch (Venetian) Empires, and finally to current history in the era of 21st Century “globalisation”, remains murky at best to the majority of self described biblical scholars.

All preceding ages, without knowing it or aiming at it, have striven to bring about our human century. Ours are all the treasures which diligence and genius, reason and experience, have finally brought home in the long age of the world. Only from history will you learn to set a value on the goods from which habit and unchallenged possession so easily deprive our gratitude; priceless, precious goods, upon which the blood of the best and the most noble clings, goods which had to be won by the hard work of so many generations!”

A Dark Age Lights the Way

The Universal History of Western Civilization: Who are we, really? - Part 2

In the first decade of the 5th century AD, in the years before Alaric marched his Visigoth horde into Rome and sacked the city, Britannia was, albeit temporarily, at peace. In the four hundred years since the first Roman invasion, tyrannical military force had largely tamed the native Celtic population, bringing classical education, economic stability, and ultimately, even Christianity to the Islands, following its adoption as the official religion of the Empire in 313 AD.

“We normally think of history as one catastrophe after another, war followed by war, outrage by outrage – almost as if history were nothing more than all the narratives of human pain, assembled in sequence. And surely this is, often enough, an adequate description. But history is also the narratives of grace, the recounting of those blessed and inexplicable moments when someone did something for someone else, saved a life, bestowed a gift, gave something beyond what was required by circumstance ...

But the great gift giver, arriving in the moment of crisis, provided for transition, for transformation, even for transfiguration, leaving us a world more varied and complex, more awesome and delightful, more beautiful and strong than the one they had found.”

The Empire That Never Was

The Universal History of Western Civilization: Who are we, really? - Part 3

In 732 AD, Charles “The Hammer” Martel, military and political leader of the Franks during the Merovingian dynasty, attacked and routed an invading Moorish army at Tours, bringing to an abrupt end decades of incursion by Islamic invaders.

“The Muslim invasion about which, even during the lifetime of Mohammed (571-632), no one had foreseen nor even prepared for, had struck the universe with the natural force of a cosmic cataclysm. It did not require more than fifty years to spread its force from the China Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. Nothing could resist its impact. On the first stroke, it toppled the Persian Empire (637-644); successively, it took away from the Byzantine Empire, Syria (634-636), Egypt ((640-42), Africa (698), Spain, (711), and then Corsica, Sardaignia, the Balearic Islands, Apulie and Calabria. Its invading march only ceased at the beginning of the 8th century when, on the one hand, the walls of Constantinople (718), and on the other hand the soldiers of Charles Martel (732), were to break its great enveloping offensive against the flank of Christianity. Then it stopped. Its force of expansion was exhausted, but it was enough to change the face of the earth. This sudden Islamic push was sufficient to destroy the Old Europe. It was the end of the Mediterranean community that had come out of the Roman Empire.” (Mahomet et Charlemagne, Henri Pirenne,  Revue Belge de Philologie et d’Histoire, Extraits, Editions Robert Sand, Bruxelles, 1922. p. 85)

Foundation

Alexander Solzhenitsyn, survivor of the Russian Gulag, had many profound insights from his experience that will help us understand the foundation death squads and torture squads are built upon:

“To do evil a human being must first of all believe that what he’s doing is good, or else that it’s a well-considered act in conformity with natural law. Fortunately, it is in the nature of the human being to seek justification for his actions.”

Macbeth’s self-justifications were feeble – and his conscience devoured him. Yes, even Iago was a little lamb too. The imagination and the spiritual strength of Shakespeare’s evildoers stopped short at a dozen corpses. Because they had no ideology.

Ideology – that is what gives evildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination. That is the social theory which helps to make his acts seem good instead of bad in his own and other’s eyes, so that he won’t hear reproaches and curses but will receive praise and honors. That was how the agents of the Inquisition fortified their wills: by invoking Christianity; the conquerors of foreign lands, by extolling the grandeur of their Motherland; the colonizers, by civilization; the Nazis by race; and the Jacobins (early and late), by equality, brotherhood, and the happiness of future generations.

Thanks to ideology, the twentieth century was fated to experience evildoing on a scale calculated in the millions. This cannot be denied, nor passed over, nor suppressed. How, then, do we dare insist that evildoers do not exist? And who was it that destroyed these millions? Without evildoers there would have been no Archipelago.”

CIA Look to Swamp Correa

About a month ago I asked a former colleague in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office what Hague saw as the endgame in the Julian Assange asylum standoff, and where the room for negotiation lay. My friend was dismissive – the policy was simply to wait for the Presidential election in Ecuador in February. The United States and allies were confident that Correa will lose, and my friend and I having both been senior diplomats for many years we understood what the United States would be doing to ensure that result. With Correa replaced by a pro-USA President, Assange’s asylum will be withdrawn, the Metropolitan Police invited in to the Embassy of Ecuador to remove him, and Assange sent immediately to Sweden from where he could be extradited to the United States to face charges of espionage and aiding terrorism.

KONY 2012: State Propaganda for a New Generation

The overnight viral sensation KONY 2012 brought worldwide awareness to the African war criminal Joseph Kony. Beneath this commendable cause, lies however an elaborate agenda that is presented in the video in a very manipulative way. We’ll look at the agenda behind KONY 2012 and how it uses reverse psychology to not only justify a military operation in Africa, but to actually have people demand it.
KONY 2012 is a cleverly orchestrated campaign specifically aimed at today’s youth, the future citizens of the world. Using state-of-the-art techniques and new technologies, the campaign is a first attempt at “reverse propaganda”, where the agenda APPEARS to emanate from the people. By using emotions, irrational thoughts and superficial explanations, KONY 2012 attempts to trick well-meaning people, who desire to make a positive change in the world, to instead fuel a gigantic war machine that is controlled by the world’s elite.

Is KONY 2012 trying to eradicate child-soldiers or is it attempting to create a new kind of child-soldiers?

… Right.

Obama, the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and the New World Order

By Kurt Nimmo

March 10, 2009

“Barack Obama is Destroying Our Economy on Purpose,” an interview with author James Simpson

On March 9, Brannon Howse of Worldview Radio interviewed author James Simpson. Entitled “Barack Obama is Destroying Our Economy on Purpose,” Howse’s interview of Simpson concentrated on Columbia University professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven who wrote an article in 1966 for The Nation magazine. “The article was published on May 2, 1966 and laid out what is now known as the ‘Cloward-Piven Strategy’. The plan calls for the destruction of capitalism in America by swelling the welfare rolls to the point of collapsing our economy and then implementing socialism by nationalizing many private institutions,” explains a synopsis on the Worldview Radio website. “Cloward and Piven studied Saul Alinsky just like Hillary Clinton and President Obama.”

Alinsky is considered to be the founder of modern community organizing in America. Alinsky’s teachings influenced Obama early in his career as a community organizer on the far South Side of Chicago. Obama worked for Gerald Kellman’s Developing Communities Project where he learned and taught Alinsky’s methods for community organizing. Obama would later work for ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

According to Sol Stern of the Manhattan Institute, ACORN is a modern successor of the radical 1960’s “New Left” and holds a “1960’s-bred agenda of anti-capitalism” to be implemented through “undisguised authoritarian socialism.”

Understanding the US-Israeli business of war

October 23, 2012

Today, Israel captured another boat bound for Gaza in international waters, an act of piracy, and an illegal blockade. Passengers, which include diplomats and parliamentarians were “tasered” and beaten. They are now enjoying Israeli “pirate” hospitality.

The Somali pirates treat their guests better. I have interviewed those held by both and can say this with some authority.

Israeli’s do a lot of spitting and kicking, at least when they have their charges hog-tied and outnumbered.
We have a number of questions for our Israeli friends, questions from 1967, questions about who attacked who, how many Egyptian prisoners were executed in Sinai, how many Americans were murdered on the USS Liberty, why Israeli teams were overheard planning the 1983 Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut, questions only those who ask the hard questions know of.

One IDF sniper team has spread stories around Israel that they killed 400 American troops inside Iraq.
They brag about it constantly. It gets back. We are not deaf.

One day we may have questions for the American officials that knew of this and chose to keep it from the American people.

American counter-intelligence officials intercepted their video transmissions, television of killings of Americans broadcast directly from American made sniper rifles modified with Israeli video and transmitter capabilities.

Israel actually posted it on YouTube, part of Israel’s “Google” operation.

For the ones who might not yet know: just 'google' the names mentioned in this video, to find out almost all of the people behind them were Jewish. Google 'Cheka' and 'Jewish' to find out about the immensely disproportionate number of Jews in its ranks -- in all layers of control.

(Bolshevism, communism) Freemasonry, Illuminati, Bilderbergers, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the FED, are all parts of the pyramid representing the 'New' World Order, which houses only Jewish bankers and their accomplices at the very top. Christian Zionist royalties, statesmen and other elitists, of course all being Freemasons, are allowed to join high up in the ranks, but it is still the power of international Jewish banking that rules all of them. It's a force known to have made, swayed, and dismayed presidents and prime ministers, and to have crippled whole empires and nations by finance and deceit.

Cong. Darrell Issa: EPA Using “Sue and Settle” to Regulate Agricultural Job Creators

4/19/2011

SALINAS, CA- The Environmental Protection Agency is "engaging in a disturbing 'sue and settle' strategy" according to Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who held an oversight forum today in Salinas, California assessing the impact EPA actions have had on farmers and growers in his home state.

"Our witnesses offered a powerful rebuke of the agency for their lack of outreach to the regulated community - which has resulted in significant regulatory threats to farmers and growers," said Issa who held the forum in his capacity as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which has been investigating regulatory impediments to job creation in various sectors since December.

"Sue and settle," a term coined by Minnesota Democratic Rep. Colin Peterson, refers to the EPA's decisions to settle lawsuits from environmentalist organizations, by-passing the proper rulemaking channels and basic transparency and accountability standards under the guise of a "court-order."

Of particular concern to Tom Nassif, the President of the Western Growers Association and a witness at today's forum, are Endangered Species Act lawsuits. Describing one suit as "the mother of all lawsuits," Nassif said "this case could cause severe economic harm and loss of jobs to tens-‐of-‐thousands of farmers, and cripple their ability to grow America's source of food and fiber on more than 112 million acres of farmland across the country, not just in California."

Since February, Issa has been soliciting input from job creators through a website, www.AmericanJobCreators.com and through a series of hearings on regulations.
